In the latest development in Delhi taxis Uber rape case has suspended its services in Delhi on Thursday night. Earlier this week the Delhi government had issued a notification banning Uber cabs in Delhi-NCR after its driver was arrested for raping a 25-year-old women.

The authorities had published a list of permitted taxis roads of national capital includes Easy Cab, Mega, Meru, Chanson, I Cab and cabin air. The cabin called are licensed only to the transportation department for the operation of radio taxi services in Delhi and NCR.

All other provider of transportation and taxi service through web-based technology that are not recognized are prohibited from providing such service in Delhi until they get the license.
