YSR Congress MP Rajampeta Peddireddi Mithun Reddy is making its native Sadum in Chittoor district soon.

Speaking to this newspaper on Friday, the young MP said Sadum mandal headquarters had given his family much politically for decades and added that it was now their turn to contribute to the development of Sadum.

Mithun Mr Reddy said he would take Sadum under the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna soon. The Rajampeta MP reiterated that would ensure the development of the village, ensuring better roads, uninterrupted power supply, supply of purified drinking water, better facilities in schools run by the state, improved sanitation and health care are available for residents of the mandal headquarters.

Meanwhile, shifting their focus to developments relating to the new capital, Mr. Mithun Reddy had a strong exception to the manner in which the state government led by TD was dealing with the key issue.

"As to the manner in which the state government is headed in terms of the construction of the new capital of Andhra Pradesh, one has the impression that once again everything would be centralized development is not good for the state" said.

Having learned a bitter lesson to centralize all development in Hyderabad during the former united state of Andhra Pradesh, now is the time to focus on decentralized development, he said. He also asked why the state government wanted land to reach about 40 thousand hectares to build the new capital and expressed doubts about the integrity of the state government to try to collect a large amount of land such in the name of the new capital.

Mr. Mithun Reddy reiterated that at any point of time if the state government is taking farmers for a walk in the name of the state capital, the ysrc would stand in strong support of farmers.
