HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has launched a campaign to promote global online Bathukamma, has been granted the status of state festival recently. The campaign has been receiving good response from Telanganites worldwide with more than six lakh people and display of the campaign and share the celebrations. 

According to a press release, a special web page with information about Bathukamma and celebrations pictures and videos have been launched recently. where the details of the global celebrations Bathukamma loaded. In addition to the website, a Facebook page and a YouTube link have also been initiated by the state government. 

Telanganites living in different countries are sharing photos and videos of the celebrations on the Facebook page created by the state government. Arrangements have also been made to the Phillies Tank Bund celebrations on October 2 on YouTube live around the world.
