We were aware that "Pranam Khareedu" is a film that started as an actor Chiranjeevi in Telugu film industry. Veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao was instrumental in providing a platform for the 23-year-old to prove his courage. 

When Kranthi Kumar met Raghavendra Rao, an experienced producer informed the filmmakers that Chiranjeevi was judged to play one of the five conductors in "Pranam Khareedu". After determining the amount of effort in the eyes of chiru KRR Kranthi Kumar asked the young man to immediately sign the film. "Frankly, I expected the success of Chiranjeevi as an actor much before his ascension Super Stardom or megastar," says Raghavendra Rao.
