Bollywood's veteran hero Mithun Chakraborty was supposed to do a crucial role in Victory Venkatesh and Power Star Pawan Kalyan's multi-starrer film 'Gopala Gopala'. As per the grapevine, Mithun Chakraborty is likely to be replaced by dialogue king sai kumar. Non-availability of Mithun's dates is said to be the prime cause for this change. Moreover, the makers have felt that a Telugu artist would do justice for this important character in the movie. 

'Gopala Gopala' is being directed by Kishore Pardasani while it is being produced by Suresh Babu and Sharat Marrar. Anup Rubens is composing the tunes. Shriya will be seen opposite to Venkatesh in this movie. The movie is slaed for Sankranthi, 2015 release.
